A delegation from the German Cooperation Agency (i.e., Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH) including representatives from two Start-Ups from the East Africa and the MENA regions, paid a visit to NSF on 1st September 2025 to explore potentials for establishing fruitful partnership in terms of technology transfer and research collaboration.
The visit of these companies to Sri Lanka has been organized by the GIZ as a part of a technology transfer week taking place from 1st to 5th September under the EU funded CIRCULAR programme. This programme focuses on circular innovation across aquaculture, agriculture and organic waste management, bringing together proven, scalable technologies from Africa that are well-suited to emerging market contexts.
The two Start-Ups, viz.
