The Eastern University of Sri Lanka (EUSL) held its second international conference on Multidisciplinary Research on 23 January 2024 at its Nalliah Auditorium. It was organized by the Centre for Multidisciplinary Research of the EUSL jointly with the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University and ESN Publications, India, The theme of the conference was "Sustainability, Innovation and Transdisciplinary Research for Tomorrow's Challenges" and more than 60 papers were presented at the conference by Sri Lankan and Indian scientists and academics.
Emeritus Prof. Ranjith Senaratne, Chairman, National Science Foundation graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Dr. V. Sharmilla of the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, India and Dr. Nithi Kanagaratnam, Nutrition Advocate, Melbourne, Australia delivered keynote speeches. The event was held under the chairmanship of Prof. V. Kanagasingham, VIce-Chancellor, EUSL.
