The National Science Foundation (NSF) is calling for applications for transdisciplinary research aligning with the national priority - ‘Research and Development Approach’ of the government policy document, ‘A Thriving Nation, a Beautiful Life’ and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This programme aims to facilitate and encourage researchers to conduct transdisciplinary research by integrating diverse fields in social science and humanities and seeks to create a holistic understanding of societal progress and well-being. The research priorities are categorised under the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities, such as Human Development, Arts, History, Culture, Ancient Heritages, Community Empowerment, Integrated Village Development, etc.
Grants will be awarded considering the scientific merit of the proposal, its innovation potential and significance for society and the country. Early career researchers and researchers from underrepresented universities are encouraged to apply, hence ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
