National Science Library & Resource Centre (NSLRC) of the National Science Foundation (NSF) is organizing a conference on “The Evolving Roles of the Librarians as Information Professionals in the Digital Era” on 9th August 2019 at Sri Lanka Foundation, Colombo 07. The conference is organized for librarians of Sri Lanka Scientific and Technological Information Network (SLSTINET).

SLSTINET is a network of 125 member libraries representing institutions performing Science and Technology related activities in Sri Lanka. National Science Library and Resource Centre acts as the National Focal Point for the SLSTINET since 1979.The aims of this conference are to enhance awareness of SLSTINET librarians on modern technologies, strengthen network activity among member libraries and build awareness of services offered by NSF to scientific libraries and research community in the country.
