Workshop on Research Management

NSF is organizing a Workshop on Research Management with the contribution of the Resource Persons from the Global Research Council as an pre-event of the Asia Pacific Regional Meeting of the Global Research Council which will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The Global Research Council (GRC) is a virtual organization, comprised of the Heads of science and engineering funding agencies from around the world, dedicated to promoting the sharing of data and best practices for high-quality collaboration among funding agencies worldwide (for more details on the Asia Pacific Regional Meeting of the Global Research Council please visit ASPAC-GRC web site.

The main objective of the workshop is to expose the Sri Lankan research community to the best practices in research management, in order to improve the current practices and subsequently enhance the capabilities of the scientific community in science and research management aspects.
The target audience will be comprised of GRC delegates from Asia Pacific Region along with Sri Lankan scientists from universities, Research Institutions, representatives from Research Funding Organizations and other relevant Science and Technology personnel.
The Workshop is scheduled to be held on 28th November 2017, from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at Hotel Galadari, Colombo.
