   1. Funding Page Charges of Research Papers

  • Support the page charges of publications of Sri Lankan Scientists whose papers have been accepted by indexed journals (on reimbursement basis).

        Applications are evaluated monthly

   2. Science Education and Popularization Programme (SEPP)

  • Provides financial support for programmes organized by science societies of schools and universities which are registered with the NSF.

       Applications should be submitted two months prior to the event and evaluated monthly - Readmore......

   3. Grants for promoting Science and Technology Publications
       The following types of publications are eligible to be considered;

  • • Books/monographs including reviews on specific scientific topics currently important
  • • Text books and supplementary reading material based on school curricular
  • • Handbooks/guides/checklists
  • • Reference material for academics/scientists
  • • Science activity books to support understanding of simple scientific concepts
  • • Science fiction to explore what may happen in the future.

   4. Sponsoring Scientific Meetings and Training Programmes

  • Sponsorships are offered to State and Non-State Institutions for meetings in the fields covered under the purview of the NSF.
