National Science Foundation- Sri Lanka

To popularize the NSF activities, a series of Subharathi Programmes were arranged with the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC). Eight programmes have been conducted up to now and the Chairperson, the Director, Heads of the Divisions of the NSF, and Chairmen / members of NSF National Committees participated at these programmes.

"Subharathi" is a Talk – Show programme produced by the SLBC and broadcast via the National Service (FM 90.3 /90.4 /97.0 /98.3 /99.6 /102.0 /107.6) from 7.00 – 8.00 am everyday. This is a phone-in programme and therefore, listeners can participate lively. Resource persons representing various segments of the society (mainly government organizations) are invited to participate at the programme. Valuable issues in the programme are highlighted in the main news bulletin occasionally.
