Two Special Merit Awards have been won by National Science Foundation for Mihimandala Video Series and Sri Lanka Science Index under e-science and technology category of e-Swabhimani 2011 – National Best e-content Award organized by ICTA (Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka).
The Award ceremony was held at Waters Edge on 22 November 2011. The Mihimandala Science Magazine on TV is among the finalists of the Manthan Award South Asia 2011 organized by the Manthan Award South Asia Secretariat, New Delhi, India. The Award ceremony has been scheduled for 1st and 2nd of December 2011, New Delhi, India.
