Journal Publication Division
The Journal Publication Division (JPD) mainly focuses on disseminating findings of research carried out by local and foreign researchers in the disciplines of natural sciences and social sciences, through publication of two multidisciplinary academic journals and financially supporting publications, conferences and scientific meetings.
Journal of National Science Foundation (https://jnsfsl.sljol.info/) is a quarterly publication which is indexed in Science Citation Index expanded (ISCE) since 2008. Sri Lanka Journal of Social Sciences (https://sljss.sljol.info/about) is a biannual publication, indexed in Emerging Social Science Citation since 2018.
Two financial schemes are in operation under the Division to support scientists to disseminate their research findings; Support Scheme for Publication Fees (SSPF) encourages local scientists to publish their findings in high-impact journals whilst the scheme for Support Scientific Meetings and Events (SSME) provides financial support to hold scientific meetings and publishing of conference proceedings.
