The PTAC is established to provide technical guidance to the Project. It was chaired by the Adviser of MOST. Its present membership includes the heads of the seven project universities, the five R&D Centres, the heads of the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Council for Information Technology (CINTEC) and, five representatives from private industry selected through the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, each covering one or more of the ten thrust areas. The Director/PIU acts as Member-secretary.
